Sigma Phi Epsilon

Missouri Alpha Chapter
At the University Of Missouri

With the semester underway, the Missouri Alpha Chapter is in position to be one of the top fraternities on campus by the end of the spring. We are proud to welcome nine more members to our chapter, increasing our chapter size to 75. We expect to be a 90-plus chapter by the beginning of Fall 2009, and we are confident that all of our members are ready to build on the success our fraternity has experienced so far this school year.

The men of Sigma Phi Epsilon are proud to host our first philanthropy in several years. Kicks for Kids, a soccer tournament benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Columbia, will be held the week of April 27. In addition, we have improved our performance in recent sorority philanthropies, placing high in Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Kappa Klassic, Kappa Alpha Theta’s Fantasy Football, Kappa Delta’s Wingman, and Gamma Phi Beta’s G.I. G-Phi  Boot Camp.  We look forward to improving even more on our performances this semester.

In addition to philanthropies the men of Missouri Alpha will participate in Greek Week again this Spring. Our Greek Week partners this year are the women of Pi Beta Phi and the men of Alpha Gamma Rho. We are excited to build on last year’s overall fourth place Greek Week performance.

SigEp is also looking forward to participating in intramurals this spring; in the fall, both our A and B soccer teams advanced to the playoffs. This semester, we have a much improved basketball team looking to go far, and our soccer teams are ready to win both leagues.

We want to thank the alumni who have donated money and countless hours of time to make Missouri Alpha what it is today. Our chapter is in a great position to jump to the top tier on campus, and we encourage you to come by, visit the house, and witness the success and tradition of the Missouri Alpha Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
